Refund Policy

Version 2026-04-28

Our policy: Subscription fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 7 days of the charge and we will review the request.

How GradeYield Pro billing works

GradeYield Pro is a recurring subscription billed through Stripe. When you upgrade, you authorize Stripe to charge your payment method on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly, depending on the plan you chose) until you cancel. Charges renew automatically at the start of each billing period.

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time from Manage Subscription in your dashboard. After cancelling, you keep Pro access through the end of the current billing period and are not charged again. Cancelling does not, by itself, generate a refund for the current period.

When we will review a refund request

We'll review and consider refund requests in cases like:

  • You were charged after cancelling and the cancellation didn't take effect.
  • You were double-billed for the same period.
  • An unauthorized charge was made on your account.
  • A refund is required by applicable consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction.

Outside of those situations, subscription fees are generally non-refundable, including for unused time after a renewal, accidental renewals where the cancellation window was missed, or because you didn't end up using the product.

How to request a review

Email support@gradeyield.com within 7 days of the charge with:

  • The email address on your GradeYield account.
  • The date and amount of the charge in question.
  • A short description of the issue.

We aim to respond within a few business days. If we approve a refund, it's issued back to the original payment method through Stripe; the time it takes to appear on your statement is set by your bank or card network.

Chargebacks

If you believe a charge is wrong, please contact us first — we can usually resolve it faster than a chargeback. Filing a chargeback before contacting us may result in your account being suspended while the dispute is reviewed.
